Sometimes we go out into the backcountry with painted nails and mascara.
Sometimes we're elbows deep in muck to get the shot. We're occasionally stubborn, usually up to no good, and always learning.

Raised in a military family, Jen lived in several places across the country as a child before settling down in northern California over a decade ago. She holds a degree in Journalism and feels fortunate to have made a career by elevating important stories through her writing.
Natalia “Nat” Martinez
Secretary, Founding Board Member
Nat was born and raised in Mexico City, and after a move to Santa Barbara for college, she's called California home ever since. She's a professional photographer and illustrator with a particular knack for photographing her black husky mix, Willow, who happens to share a little more DNA with wolves than most domesticated dogs today.

Ann is a California native with a heart for art and a passion for business. By day, she's a producer, but her true love lies in capturing the beauty of nature, from the sunrise to the sunset.
